So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger , and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know , that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone ; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD

Now THIS is the Scripture Jesus quoted to the devil in Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4 after forty day in the desert without eating! He tempted Jesus to turn a stone into bread 'if' He were the son of God.

Well, Jesus knew the source of life's sustenance for man. It was God's Word... In fact EVERY Word of God!
Don't you love the Bible and God for all His provisions!
