Chunky, I know nothing of nano bead technology, but this is my understanding based on logic and a basic understanding of physics:
The contents of the filter (nano beads containing nicotine) are easily airborne and absorbed through the mucus (eww!) in your mouth. Try inhaling on a filter without the device. It works, but not as well. The heat further dislodges the nano beads from their bind with the filter material and are inhaled. When you drag on a filter without the device you are indeed getting some nano beads, probably a decent amount, but with the slight heat you are getting much more (30-40% more?? guess). The same thing goes if you take a strong drag verse a mild one. Think of nano beads as a form of matter that is easily transfered from point A to point B... That's how I think of them. Please, correct me if I'm wrong, I have not done any good reading on this technology, this is my hypothesis and I would like to know more but haven't had the time to read up on it.
