Sorry if this is OT, but since I went free, I can't PM MOJO or post on the Iraqi Dinar thread (premium). Seeing what's going on over there makes me want to pay up just so I can try and knock some sense into these people.

If the dinar goes through any significant reval (never mind the absurd 1:1 or better people over there seem to think is inevitable) two things will happen.

1. Iraq will depopulate as the newly fabulously rich Iraqis move to the United States and Europe. Think the Iraqi government would allow that?

2. Half the US Army will be overnight millionaires. Imagine the chaos that would cause to our national security. Think the US government would allow that?

No matter how expert sounding and enthusiastic some guy on a video seems, if he says "reval" then he's selling snake oil.
