"The report shows that the REAL Smokefree ‘cigarette’ is perceived as a compelling alternative to regular smoking. All participants were excited and enthusiastic at being invited to take part in this process. Strong points brought forward are: the heating sensation experienced when inhaling; the look and feel of a ‘real cigarette’; and, the user friendliness of the charger, filter and stick. 65% of the test persons would buy the product immediately if it would have been available at the test site and would use it on a regular basis. 68% of the audience preferred the ‘cool mint’ taste over the Virginian blend: fresher and giving more pleasure in general. 73% would like to see a fruity, coffee or chocolate taste: an idea that SFIO already decided to stay away from. And 25% would like to see a more colorful version of the charger. Everybody involved confirmed that the suggested consumer price of the starter kit of 99€ and 9€ for a 20 filter pack would be no inhibition to purchase the product. Only 13% would never consider buying a smoke free alternative and rather quit smoking."
