Couldn't help noticing that you took today off on posting, maybe you are thinking this thing out. If so good for you. As you mentioned in one of your last posts, yes I did post about the building of a fifth generation compressor and was optimistic that this would be the one. The compressor is 12 inches long by 15 inches in diameter. It is capable of producing a pressure ratio of 6:1, while processing 205 acfm at 6,000 rpm. To date, the fastest it has operated is 3600 rpm with a flow of 129 acfm. Running without liquid or oil injection, it reached >80% energy efficiency at 2800 rpm (see plots below). This is a substantial increase in efficiency over previous generations. It comes from star rotor inc. they are the ones who actually own the patent and built it. Here's the link to it.

I have now lost faith that the AC unit will ever be developed.
Reference fred's own words that they needed to raise capital for it, but at the same time are spending their money buying sutimco.The fact that they didn't say, yes we are raising the AS but the money is going to production of the AC units, tells me they are NOT serious about ever completing this job.
From the last filings they have zero employees working on it, enough said.
