hi gang, this is just received email response from ibf boxing secretary jeannette salazar concerning tampa meeting..we had a couple emails and she wanted to know a little more about my inquirey prior to response..i get fustrated with cgaq bigtime, am an investor, and want to present pros/cons for all to haggle..reading her reply, i'd consider this a positive for cgaq, but not a 100% go........EMAIL RESPONSE__"Thanks for clarifying. I found it odd that you knew quite a bit about this meeting, had so many questions, but you didn't explain who you were or why this meeting was of such interest to you. In fact, I have gotten a few inquiries like this.

The only things I can give you a concrete answer on are that the meeting did take place and Daryl Peoples and I were present. The IBF does not dictate where a championship fight has to take place. Ultimately, that is up to the promoters of both fighters and whether they can reach an agreement. If this does not happen then a purse bid is ordered. The winner of the bid decides where the fight will take place. You are going to have to ask Mr. Swank how this is panning out.

Mr. Peoples would like to further develop the organization's activity in Latin America. We visited the Dominican Republic in April, at the request of the boxing commissioner to explore the potential there. We met with promoters, managers, officials, boxers and the press while there. All were very enthusiastic about our visit and the possibility of the organizations activity expanding to their country. Mr. Peoples sees great potential in the Dominican Republic and is committed to do what he and the organization can to make it happen. However, this is also dependent on everyone involved doing there part as well. Mr. Swank has a great idea and hopefully he can see it to fruition."

Regards
Jeanette
