What difference what "it" is!
A man with as many contacts and entrees as Pouligny couldn't be touched by some guy who's merely charged with setting up "a network of sales channel leaders." In lay English I think that means trying to build a sales force.
I'd assume Pouligny worked for a fixed fee, not on commission, given his already established reputation. I'd also assume he was very clear to the posers (I meant powers, but poseurs fits, too!) that ran cdex that he did NOT have to actually sell product -- term used very loosely -- just give it exposure.
And for that service, I assume he set his own price, at least 6 figures US, probably payable in advance in cash, not in shares or options or promissory notes or anything ephemeral like that. Ya think?
No fool, that man. But he served cdex's purposes so everyone was happy, except of course those who agreed to try it and found it didn't do what it said on the tin. But they prolly weren't too upset since it cost them nothing except a little wasted time.
Ah, but now it's a brand new "product", the super new ID2. So it s h o u l d sell itself, shouldn't it?
Can't wait to read glowing PRs about how well the company is doing, thanks to massive ID2 sales.
