Gen 1 = current textile industry and other new applications of Monster Silk

Gen 2 = Pure spider silk with industrial textiles and other applications note yet considered

Gen 3 = silks of a multitude of variations, different than anything found in nature. (Paint mixing) Applications could be medical and beyond.

Some gene sequences are restricted and some are not. My guess is that Kim is using the ones that are not restricted. Would it not be logical to use the ones that have the most potential for the company if all this effort is being make to succeed?
