I am assuming the "sensor" is board mounted transducer or or some other pressure sensing device with an voltage output pinned to a transducer module and a FPGA. Simply plugging in a data cable to the battery port and writing new values to the FPGA (chip) would to allow the coil to energize sooner or at a lower vacuum. I would not mess with the heating time too much because can shorten battery life and cause premature wear of the coil. A larger capacity battery and larger coil would generate more heat but would also effect the package size. I know some would like the light to be mounted further back. It is possible but would required a major redesign. Maybe the next gen will have the light moved to where the user can see it better. I noticed the ibox shows a RE/AL with what looks like the light mounted further toward the tip - at the other end of the sensor body. It must be an early r&d version. If it has a mechanical switch, then changing the timing of the heater would be more difficult.
