Yep...cars and wishes. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a car buff. I'm more into aviation. Anybody want to share some good "pucker factor" stories while we wait on BFAR to post their fins? I've got a good one...during my first solo X-country several years ago, I was landing in a strong cross wind, so I was crabbing my 172 at a pretty acute angle. Just as I was flaring and about to touch down, the cross wind stopped and didn't correct in time. I ended up touching down at an angle and running off the runway and out through a nearby field. I shot the throttle and took back off and headed back to Rome. Poor guy cutting grass on the tractor thought I was a Japanese Zero coming to take him out.


Humm... still no news. anyone else have a story?
