garden updates. June 22



the front of the chicken pen, there are tomatoes/cabbage out front and green beans along the fence. The brown is grass clippings for mulch.


Pole beans and lettuce patch



My wife calls this my harem.





cucumbers, tomatoes and egg plant. There are melons planted in the patch behind. They aren't coming on too hard, they like it hot.



I've got pole beans planted along the fence. These were leftover seeds from last year. I've got them planted everywhere. The girls are looking for a handout.



potatoes and turnips


cabbage, peppers, a little corn and some more eggplants


a few more tomatoes and some brussell sprouts. My field corn experiment didn't work well. Not many of the seeds sprouted.



What's left of the lettuce, the guinea pig loves the stalks. I've got small patches of sweet corn planted at different times to stagger the ripening dates. If you look hard, you might be able to see a zuchini and two "lemon" cucumber plants.
