Here is a post regarding a very similar campaign, sticky note and all, orchestrated by the CEO a few months ago.

Snail mail. Damage Inc got the big money. Joe Noel of Emerging Growth got a few crumbs.

What bugs me, is that they put these sticky notes with a personal note on them like they know me.
