For those that don't think any of the China stocks can rally back, just look at HRBN today! Up 58% on 11 million shares, in spite of another short attack recently! I am calling this news today a GAME CHANGER on shorted China stocks!!!!

Shorts finally got screwed there!!!! As the the deal to take the company private has been approved according the news.




TIMELINE-Yang's nine-month-long chase for Harbin Electric

(Reuters) - Harbin Electric agreed to be taken private by a group led by Chief Executive Tianfu Yang in a deal that values the Chinese electric motor maker at $750 million, sending its shares up 52 percent early Monday morning on Nasdaq.

Following is a timeline on the nine-month-old saga:

Oct 11 - Harbin Electric says Chief Executive Tianfu Yang and his affiliates offered $24 per share to take it private.

Oct 29 - Harbin says board to consider CEO's proposal to take the company private.

Nov 23 - CEO Yang ends an exclusive financing agreement with private equity firm Baring to take the company private, raising concerns over the deal.

Nov 23 - Harbin says entered into a term loan facility agreement with China Development Bank.

April 15 - CEO Yang says has lined up the necessary funding for a $24 a share bid.

June 10 - Harbin Electric says Yang and Abax Global Capital reaffirm their offer to take the company private for $750 million, after a research firm raised doubts about the deal going through.

June 16 - Harbin shares collapse as a report from a short-seller lead investors to bail out of the U.S.-listed Chinese maker of electric motors rather than wait to see if a proposed takeover bid would come to fruition.

June 17 - Harbin says a report by a short-seller questioning a proposed management-led buyout was "factually incorrect."

June 20 - Harbin agrees to be taken private by CEO Yang in a deal that values the company at $750 million.
