Effective on June 13, 2011, Mr. Frank W. Baier resigned from the Board of ? Directors of Doral Financial Corporation (the "Company"). Given his ? resignation, Mr. Baier will not stand for election as a member of the Board of ? Directors of the Company at the 2011 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held ? on June 28, 2011. Mr. Baier resigned from his position in the Board of ? Directors of the Company in order to pursue an employment opportunity with ? another financial institution.
