I am running my own manufacture since thirty-four years - so I know a bit about running a company LOL - and one of my hobbies is....to be a gourmet LOL So I know a little bit closer several people who are running italian, russian and indian restaurants as well as coffeeshops etc. in several towns around Europe. So I have had the chance to talk about running restaurants.
You are right, it might not be easy to develop a story....but it does neither need a high school examination nor a university degree to run a restaurant. I have respect for people who are busy in this business....with lots of competitor. But let's be realistic.....those people work in general for themselves and not for others. Everybody can openb a restaurant....if is is running well, that's another story. With other words, it is hard for me to believe that directors of public Spicy Pickles also truly think 'public' and take care for shareholder. Especially if I do my dd on the history of SPKL: They develop, but I do not see much growth in shareholder value as the money is going into the pockets of the directors. Sorry, my opinion.
Well, I know there is McDonald....but meanwhile I know that many microcaps in this business have no value and never will have. I got this too late, otherwise I would not have invested in SPKL. But, however, it is anyway just one of my microcap games.
