You have probably read some crap on the forums last week. I wanted to let you know to disregard all that BS.
This is confidential. Please do not repeat this to anybody, and do not post it on any forums. I am sending this to you only because you have an NDA. I also assume that you might be an investor in our private placement, so I am sending you this status update, but do not repeat it.
Lecere is low on cash. I have not paid Stallion Asset's monthly bill, so I asked them to not to do any work until we can raise more money to pay them and others. Whether or not they will be with us in the long run is unclear, but there are many IR firms available to Lecere.
The recent selling came from a very small 504 funding that we did, but I do not believe there will be many more of those 504 deals. The 504 investor has sold all of the shares they got, so there will not be any more mass selling for a while, and maybe not for many months. I can't guarantee there won't be any more 504 funding, but I don't plan to do any more.
Casey Powell and I are working without salary. The only other significant salaries are those of engineering, and they are being paid. Engineering work continues, but it is slow, because we do not have a lot of engineers. Our product is very stable, and,our customers love it.
We have identified two new market segments that would be a great opportunity for us, and we have no competition there today. We are making modifications to FIRMS to support those two market segments.
We will soon make a proposal to have a large supplier in the food industry with 600+ salespeople distribute FIRMS for us. If we win this, we will PR it, and it should create some excitement,
We will also make a proposal to have a large supplier in one of the new market segments distribute our product for us. If this materializes, we will PR this development.
We are adding a small number of customers, but our big push is to add the two large suppliers and use those relationships to greatly accelerate our sales in the coming months. We cannot add a lot of customers because it takes sales personnel or sales partnerships (such as the two discussed above) to be able to accelerate our sales and revenue.
I believe I will recover $1 million+ in my lawsuit within the next two months, and I still intend to invest heavily in Lecere if and when that occurs. This lawsuit is set for trial in August, so it getting close. I believe it will settle, rather than go to trial.
We will talk with a new set of investors in one week that could bring as much as $500K of new private investment.
There are many exciting opportunities in front of us. Lecere is low on cash, but we will survive this predicament, just as we have done about three times before in our history.
Every successful company in existence today went through many periods in its development phase during which its detractors loudly proclaimed to anybody foolish enough to listen that surely now is the time to deliver final rites to the dying. But in every case, of course, the detractors turned out to be wrong.
Lecere has been though many such periods in the last two or so years, and we have certainly had more than our share of detractors predicting that surely this time is really the end for Lecere. But in every case, those detractors have been wrong, because Lecere is still very much alive today, and, in my opinion, Lecere has never been stronger than it is today.
I can not and will not give you investment advice, but I can provide you with status since you have signed an NDA and are a potential private investor.
This is all I can say for now.
Thanks for your support.
