Mr. ADAM Kroloff WAS APPOINTED AS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Paris, June 3, 2011 - At the meeting of the Board of Toreador Resources Corp..
held May 31, 2011 in New York immediately after the Annual General Meeting of
shareholders, the directors have appointed Adam Kroloff as President Non
Executive Council until the next Annual General Meeting of shareholders, or
until his successor is appointed.
Mr. Kroloff is a member of the Board of Toreador Resources Corp.. since June 2009,
where he was first Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Nominating Committee and
governance.
Mr. Kroloff held various executive positions for 20 years in the oil and gas
working in the international field for over ten years. His career has focused on
areas of governance, strategy and risk management. Before joining
Industry, Mr. Kroloff served as a lawyer. Mr. Kroloff holds a Doctorate of Law
University of California, Hastings College, and graduated from Claremont McKenna College.
