It's about changing the name of the compensation plan (i.e. the one where employees can be paid with stock). It has nothing to do with increasing the AS except that it refers to an AS increase that happened in 2009. Since that happened in February 2009 - it's definitely old news and well known here. I am not a legal expert or anything but I can read and that's what this Form S8 is about. It's mot a max shocker despite the poster's name. The name change possibly gives CGFIA more latitude in the status of those compensated not having to be employees - but can be contracted consultants or ?? The obviously had some reason for doing it and have not checked with me so all of the speculation as to why is IMO.
