The key is how well does this national advertising impact the sales with the company's steadily growing network of marketing partners.

I am sure the reason for doing the advertisement is to support the marketing efforts of their partners. I do not know about you, but if I hear of a product through, say, a organziation I belong to, and then I see the product in a national ad, I am more prone to looking at the product closer and take advantage of a member discount if it fits in with what I need.
