IMHO, you are clearly getting so fixated on the Calm Seas thing that you are missing important details about the rest of it: for example:

Kim very clearly stated that as a result of the ramping up of the population of worms, KBLB would have a product ready before the end of the year (or words to that effect). Which is obviously before a textile deal because the worms are not up to production levels yet.

And I posted that that that product would be shorter silk fibers from the cocoons from which the silkworms had cut themselves out of (you have to let them do that when they are reproducing) for chopped strand or swirled strand type uses and ideal for many protection and structure products.

IMHO when you get so fixated on one subject (the Calm Seas) that you try to inject big significance to every um, hmmm, or pause (as many here appear to be doing) you are going to miss far more important details elsewhere as you just did.

I suspect that most people here made up their minds about the Calm Seas thing long ago. If you want to change anyone's opinion you need to come up with something far more substantive than your interpretation of a pause or tone of voice. JMHO.
