Actually, given the fact that many of them run embedded Linux, I am thinking of building a Beowulf cluster out of some...

I did it before. When we worked on that project for a next generation access point, we used Linux as the base. As part of our presentation, we threw in some slides about the possibility of using them in a Beowulf cluster. Had graphs and bar charts showing expected performance, etc. The look on the marketing guys faces was priceless.
