We can tell by the recent court documents and the service list that includes; Fraunhofer Inst. for Integrated Circuit, New Satellite Radio S.r.l, Iron Mountain Informaiton Management, Inc, Yenura Pte. Ltd., Micronas GmbH, EDX Wireless, Midtown Parteners III, f/k/a/ Midtown Partners, Inc., Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A., and XM Satellite Radio, that many of the partnerships remain in 1Worldspace. Worldspace Satellite Company, Ltd. Debtor Case Number 10-11625 is indeed Dr. John Malone. With this said, I will speculate that Dr. Malone continues to have interest in the 1Worldspace system. The "old" 1Worldspace satellites were transitioned to Yenura Pte. in May 2010. Since, many new platforms have been launched globally. Many have capabilities not only to carry radio signals but HiDefinition video as well, internet, data downlink and other emergency response efforts. Considering the "boom" in satellite technologies (see Satellite 2011, Washington DC), I am of the opinion that any company vested in satellite technologies has increased in value. We know that 1Worldspace is not presently broadcasting but that does not mean there are no classified and incubation strategies in place.
In short, 1Worldspace is alive and well. We are invested with one of the leaders in satellite technologies, Dr. John Malone. I have been invested in 1Worldspace since July 2008. I have not sold any stock, I remain long as an investor and I am personally excited about the future of 1Worldspace. I am of the opinion that the company has been cleaned of unnecessary expenses and that we had better hold on to our hats once the volume is turned up!
