Just for consideration, think what bashers can do:

Gene Savin

Yes I am the notorious Gene Savin. And I am here to make a personal apology to all of the company's I have ever posted disparaging remarks on. First let me begin by apologising to Nighthawk, Nostra terra it was completely uncalled for I would also like to apologise to the wider online community who use the Internet Please accept my whole-hearted apology.

Now my confession begins. I was employed as a stock-basher on Interactive,LSE, and most of the main chat sites. I rue the day I ever became involved. I just did not realise how much it would effect my life.

We operated in a team of six using 3/4 screen names on every site. At first we would join the sites then slowly but surely become trusted by the communities we did this using a variety of means ticking up other posts and agreeing with the main posters on any one site. Of course we also ticked each other up. One of the best ways to earn the kudos of the boards was to continually cut 'n' paste information found online regarding any one stock it didn't matter where it came from. This method was proven in past escapades to increase our popularity. You can see it occurring now on INTERACTIVE/ADVFN We would post as much as 200/300 articles per day the more the better this guaranteed that our online presence was seen and read by all. Once we had achieved trusted status amongst the site users we would then set about attacking any poster that threatened to undermine our credibility after all we needed people to believe in us any one posting a contrary view was attacked by the team and as always other genuine posters would join in kind of like a Pavlovian response. We controlled the herd mentality thus we controlled the investors. Then we would slowly change the sentiment on a stock of course we would be shorting the said stock and when it went as low as we could get it we would then go long on it knowing that after we ceased our attack the stock would increase as a matter of common sense. So that's basically how we did it. I get asked many times are there still members of the team online operating. Well of course there is. They have reinvented themselves using different screen names such as Trotysmac, SpikeyDT and anthracite on iii and one or two others these are now working the Grift building up their reps. Billybowdon, pete tongu on advfn doing just the same. It was so easy because there's no moderation and subscription is totally free.

I hope this confession goes some way to explaining why i did what I did. It was greed and the buzz of power controlling hundreds of investors with-out their knowledge. There's lots of Bashing/rampers out there to this day the worst site is Interactive Investor it's rotten with them.
