While it's not impossible for retail customers to short a penny stock, it's very difficult; to locate shares, and typically multiple layers of requirements and restrictions must be met. Meet the restrictions and find the shares (typically less than 5000 are locatable any given day... re/ pennies/pinks/OTC) figure the costs of this transaction and the risks given the high swings & you better know what the funk you are doing or your gonna get hung.
