I highly doubt there is a short position in this issue. Substantial short positions in penny/sub-penny stocks only occur when there are convertible debentures, i.e. the toxic death spiral. There's no mention of any convertible debentures in the disclosure statements, that I can find. What's more probable is that the price goes down when there are more sellers than buyers of the 38.6M float, just the usual trading pressure on the bid/ask. And dilution of course, and the dumping of formerly restricted shares.

Just my opinion.
