My guess would be that something bigger is going on. Yesterdays news that Fords global plan is to target Asia is a big deal. We know that the UN named auto company is Ford. This is just speculation. But I think that the reason we are not hearing from Jim is that he is worried that by speaking to us he could potentially harm the relationship with Ford, because in a way it was having to put a cat back in the bag since we all knew he was working with Ford before they asked him to not speak on it.

I think, speculation again, that if they were working with Ford in Asia the pumps could be produced at AFTC direction in Asian Ford factories. Maybe he does not need more then 5 employees.
