The teachings of Yeshua are silmilar to Hillel, not Moses.

If you study the accounts if the synoptic gospels you will find that they are in strong agreement about his teachings while the biographical details differ wildly and are sometimes contradictory. This suggests that they are based on an oral tradition, perhaps written down after his death, that included his teachings, the biographical details were added at a later date and are robably mostly fiction.

by the time the gospels were included in the canon of orthodoxy they had been under the sole control of the Roman Church for generations. The history and even some of the sayings of Jesus were altered to fit the Roman agenda of religious as well as political and military domination.

The mythical miracles and the deification of "Jesus" are derived from the Greco-Roman tradition of deifying their heroes, and have no more historical meaning that the tales of Ulysses.

The essay is moot, it carries as much weight as a psychological analysis of that same heroic figure.
