Now, what is the value of PPC share that will be added to PX share by way of dividend declaration? PPC is a petroleum firm that owns the following: (a) 18.46-percent interest of Pitkin Petroleum PLC (a company engaged in Vietnam offshore oil exploration that has already found promising oil fields); (b) controls Forum Energy PLC, a company based in United Kingdom that has 70-percent interest in Service Contract (SC) 72 covering the Sampaguita natural gas discovery in Western Palawan, another promising oil/gas find, and has also interests in various interesting petroleum service contracts; (c) owns 10.31 percent of PetroEnergy Resources Corp, which has a production sharing contract covering the ETAME discovery oil in off shore Gabon, Africa; and (d) Owns 100 percent of Brixton Energy & Mining Corp., a coal-mining firm operating in Northern Mindanao.

this is interesting and will influence our own stock going forward. without voicing my own opinion, i just want to point out where the dynamics change. Also what are the new risks as well as the rewards.
we wont be able to fairly compare the value of fecofs ownership in fep with PPC but there is a chance that if ppc trades anywhere near fecofs MARKET CAP, then PPC will be the more desirable of the two stocks as they own a larger percentage of FEP and a bag of other percentages in various fields too. You can argue that FEP is our comparable but being traded on the aim market with different tax laws and variables makes PPC a much better comparable as ppc will most likely be traded in the open market.
the risks that might exist now are .........what new doors and takeover possibilities does this shuffling in companies do to fecof shares? Can ppc make a buyout offer or a straight out takeover of fecof? It can be a way for philex to aqcuire more fecof shares via ppc. I dont think they'll make an attempt though before they find out a solution to the chinese agression/problem.
