Zebra,
Don't do it. I swear I will go down with the ship of Cortex. And as long as I am long, Cortex will sink. It's just a fact of life. I don't know if you are spiritual? I'm kind of confused, but in 18 years of trading stocks, I have literally bought the top and sold the bottom (+/- 10%), 90% of the time I've transacted roughly 1,000 trades.

My conclusion: God (in essence) said to me: "MF4, you will have a great life and enjoy it and prosper if you do one thing: do not trade financial instruments for personal gain". Of course, he said this to me to humble me and teach me to respect his authority. Naturally, as a human, I rebel to this day, and pay for it every time.

So, as I am slowly beginning to accept this absurd stipulation as reality, I have my days where I am grateful for all of my blessings even though I know in my heart, I could suceed wildly (financially), if not for this arbitrary forcefield in place. Though it frustrates me to no end, what good does it do a man to gain the world but lose his soul? I struggle mightily every day with this command. But it's only there because I put "winning the game" above all else, and that's why it eludes me so.

So, now I have confessed my innermost conflict and risked mockery to get to this point: you and Cortex exist in my reality. In some parallel universe, this will be wrong. If your active consciousness is in that universe, then Cortex may be wildly sucessful from here?

But, if you are in lockstep with my universe for the foreseeable future, Cortex will slowly bleed down to zero. What better way to make the point elucidated above, than to have a 16 year buy and hold investment go to zero?

I'm sorry for all of you in my reality. Cortex is going to zero. But stubbornly, I refuse to sell any, come what may.
