Sorry, Davidal, I meant better days lie ahead for well-intended shareholders after this carcass has been buried (or less realistically, raised from the dead). Those who weren't too naive in the end should make better investing choices in the future, or at least better allocation decisions. For mgmt, I find it difficult to believe they can move past this long-term trauma without permanent damage of some sort. I hope they face the mirror and purge to regain some internal strength, but certainly part of them will never recover. Not that they can't overcompensate and provide some exceptional benefit to people or humanity in other ways...it's always possible.
