Since the delta on the call is always positive definite, one can use the system to trade on call chains. Thus, since the liquidity of calls on the SPY is solid, one can exclusively trade calls while scanning the ETF. Thus you have no real portfolio exposure since the expiration is the loss of cash, not equity.
