I'm trying to make sense of it all in a positive way.
Name me a few options where the company can be saved? generating huge revenue via form of a large deal? how bout being bought out from a larger company who has the cash to spent and wants their patent? you can say its simply just one bagholder passing the torch to another (if that is how you see it). But still, you cannot rule out the possibility.
so it is not none sense if a buyout is to occur, and no lesser of a chance than declaring chapter 11 and closing the company down.
