On another note

$5 trillion spent and thousands of lives lost, and injured for unjustified wars. Iraq was the means to justify our 10 year stay in Afghanistan for corporate warmongers given unbidded contracts.

Deregulations inacted over decades, and the lack of enforcement finally reared its head. "We were at least told that the dragon was burning down wall street, and was about to bring this country and others to its financial knees, less he was slayed. It all started with Vietnam, and our debt ballooned under Reagan. Out of control spending and bailouts took us to $11 trillion without a thought of how it was to be repaid. Over $2 trillion was borrowed from the Social Security Trustfund. Which means trust, a trustfund is in reality never supposed to be touched!, a Trustfund that was looted and replaced with IOU's. Now they would like to see the American people give this up, or a least a portion of it.

If the bailouts and the wars haven't been enough the republicans are now telling us, not asking, dictating the reasons why the American people should allow them to return us back to the days of Hoover. A president who showed his stuff, leading us down the road to the Great Depression, and even used active armed soldiers against their brothers who served in war, our veterans. This is the kind of government they want brought back. If one can call it that?

They have no problem with giving a trillion in tax breaks to their wealthy sponsors. They want ultimate control.
