If there is oil, they will likely pump it for awhile to obtain an estimate of a sustained production rate. Could be several days or even more. I think it would be bad practice to publish an initial production rate without first trying to obtain a sustained rate.

If there is no oil (water), they will likely inform us immediately and go to the next zone.

I have no humble opinions, but I do have opinions and those are what I express in my posts. BUT...I have been wrong before and likely will be wrong again so do your own research and don't blame me if you are too lazy to do so.
