YMB for DNDN and most other biotech stocks has degenerated into lots of mumbo-jumbo about various conspiracies and far-fetched manipulation schemes. There is so much spin & counter-spin about each of these ideas, such a hedge fund collaring, option driven schemes, if beachgal is a hidden basher, etc. that I think most is the work of folks with vivid imagination, too much time, and those who prey on them -- daytraders that try to take advantage of short term trends by starting or contributing to fluctuation in share prices.

Please realize that I am not arguing that games are not being played -- just that IMHO that it is very difficult to make money from such fluctuations unless one is a professional short term trader content to make a nickel here or there (and sometimes even a quarter !).

I for one like to understand what is fundamentally going on, make good long term 6-12 months bets (with the risk inherent in any biotech bet) based on real data and hope to on average make several dollars per share. The volatility is real and I am prepared for fluctuations of +/- $1 for no good reason these days.
