eh I think that's quite a bit of a stretch. I imagine that the gov't looked at things a bit more than the BS that biocentric put out. From what I have read, Solazyme has received gov't grants and other funding already, that is in the bank. Their financials have had to been audited in order to go public.
It says they have 2009 revenue was $9 million, 2010 revenue was $38 million, and $2011 Q1 revenue was $8 million. Then via the IPO they just received almost $200million.
That is about $208 million more than what Biocentric earned this year. Whether they succeed or not, this is in no way a comparison to biocentric.
