MC Endeavors Seeing Haiti Reconstruction Starting to Advance after Receiving Requests for JV Partnerships

Haiti is moving from transitional housing to permanent housing projects.

Monarch Beach, CA, June 1, 2011 - MC Endeavors, Inc. (PinkSheets: MSMY) announced that in the wake of the Haiti earthquake of nearly a year and a half ago, credible sources are indicating that funding for permanent housing in Haiti is finally starting to flow. This is a significant development as more than an estimated 600,000 displaced Haitians are still living under tents and tarps.

We are currently receiving requests for joint venture partnerships and private property contracts to work on permanent housing projects in Haiti that total over $22M so far. International organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and private financers are now accelerating the approval and flow of funding for permanent construction---as they diminish funding for and move away from transitional housing.

It is important to reiterate that the international community has pledged more than $5 Billion in reconstruction assistance funding for Haiti. These funds will be jointly approved for implementation by the Interim Commission for the Reconstruction of Haiti (IHRC) which was established in the months following the earthquake and the new Government of Haiti led by President Michel Martelly.

It is anticipated that a number of NGOs, multilateral international organizations and bilateral donors will be proposing the financing and implementation of permanent housing, debris removal and other reconstruction programs totaling many millions of dollars over the next few months.

Former US Ambassador, first “US Response Coordinator” for the Haiti earthquake and MC Endeavors Board MemberLewis Luckestated “It is time to move from transitional to permanent housing and that funding for it to be provided as soon as possible. President Martelly has stated his commitment to permanent housing—and we all truly hope his vision will soon be realized.”

MC Endeavors CEO Tim Algier emphasized that, “Our trip to Haiti this month will be undertaken to survey the potential site where our factory may be built as well as survey the privately property sites where multi-use developments will be master planned. We welcome the opportunity to be part of the reconstruction team of firms that will be building new community-based, affordable, and durable permanent housing and commercial buildings that will establish critically needed new communities and providing renewed hope for Haitians.”
