Re: Settlement Conference. I don't know how many of you have real litigation experience so I apologize now if I offend anyone. The bottom line is that all of you who were expecting some groundbreaking outcome from today were being, to say the least, a little naive. As an attorney I have been involved with very "insignificant" settlements (from a monetary standpoint) that have dragged on for months. Here we are talking about a VERY significant settlement that has the potential to determine who holds the key to groundbreaking technology. In other words the technology that is/was being fought over in court is such that will likely redefine many aspects of our internet interaction. You can count on the fact (as we have posted over and over) that the top lawyers in this IP field are working on this matter, and, with their respective financial interests at stake (not to mention their professional reputations) they are going to make sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed at least 3 times before they shake hands and meet for drinks.

Honestly, I am somewhat surprised that things are moving along at this pace. It tells me that BOTH sides want closure to this deal so they can proceed with who knows what in terms of moving the technology forward (for both parties). In addition, you can be sure that anyone or any entity of significance who we are hoping to buy into NEOM, and not daytraders or retail folks like you and me, understand this settlement process and the importance of taking the time to make sure both parties are protected and satisfied. The bottom line is, RELAX, I think we will all be presently surpised (and some, like myself, sooner than they think).
