Can someone with MUCH more knowledge of stocks and investing answer this question: Why does extreme shorting happen for over a period of two months? My reasoning is that this is such a HYGE deal, with BIG money behind it, and they want to discourage investment in the stock by small investors. Anyone think this is too far fetched?
