Hi Janice,

No the area where the deer was is now the chiweenie play area.

Hubby has finally agreed to add a friend for Ziva to play with now that she's settled down a bit and isn't as hyper as she was when smaller.

The lady that came to do the inspection (its required to have a fenced in yard here now to adopt as tethering/chaining is illegal) suggested we foster. I wish I could do that but I get too attached and would be too hard to give up!

Hopefully soon we will have her a friend but we have to make sure it's a dog that has the right temperament as many have been abused and either don't get along with small dogs or any at all. Plus I have some young nieces and nephews who visit so it also will have to get along well with little ones.

We will see. We're not rushing, as we want to find the right fit for both the new dog and ours.
