When you're feeling down about the pps, go back and read these two press releases:

http://www.ages-biomass.com/news_2004_10_26.htm

http://www.ages-biomass.com/paper_2005_02_08.htm

My favorite excerpts:

3. AGES potential market - AGES commissioned an independent business plan which was submitted to SDTC during the project evaluation. The business plan verified that the market potential for the AGES KDS technology is enormous in North America alone. Demand for this new technology is being driven by the requirement of Pulp and Paper companies to find solutions to ever increasing costly disposal of their bio-solids (sludges). These out-of-control costs are having a detrimental financial impact on corporate earnings. Coupled with this volatile cost uncertainty is the problem of continually researching new disposal strategies as existing options close down or are impacted by tightening environmental regulations.

The new AGES KDS technology not only negates the disposal costs of these problem biomass waste streams, but combined with the Thermix dust burning and clay segregation system can create useful thermal energy (Btu) for use in industrial processes (i.e.. creation of steam to generate electrical power). When the 25 EU countries are considered, the potential market diffusion of this exciting new technology is staggering as the environmental situation in the EU is much more serious, and energy costs can be 3 times higher than in North America.

Of course, AgES can only consider the North America and EU markets.

FASC has left Asia for itself. I wonder it there is a market there as well?
