JAMES T KIRK AND ALL Where are the flying cars? We were supposed to have flying cars by now. With the money as tight as it is now I am not surprised the demand for better faster smaller more efficient is in effect. Maybe, just maybe the I T spending will pick up by the end of 2003 I can’t imagine this happening any sooner I’m sure the warehouses are still blowing the dust off of products they are pulling off of their shelves and introducing as new products. I wonder who was stuck with a boatload of 8track tape players when cassette players came out Etc. Look at car commercials, you don’t see any thing new but the poetry has changed. All the special affects, graphics, the language attempts to make you feel less than if you don’t have this. Different music, different approach entirely. WHAT really needs to happen is some kind of government-subsidized finish the last mile bill. They did it with train tracks. To move people, and when the oil boom came, well you know. They did it with the airlines to move people, now look at all the products being transported by air. Who knows what the pipelines will be used for in the future? As it stands the information flow is neither consistent nor complete. Why make Pc’s faster when the lines can’t handle the speed that’s available now? Ever try to download something on a cell phone not to mention they burn holes in your head. When the money slows down to a crawl, like the information flow and the warehouses are still full crap we don’t want or need, maybe just maybe the feds will do something to spur this economy. Maybe it won’t be to late. Old economy, old ideas, ALL WE NEED IS A WAR!!! That’ll fix it. It always has. @sses

Sorry Zeev, I know, no politics. But it’s all connected and the information flow should be too. LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN
