I am with you I hate the city a lot, I prefer the woods, we don't call it the Bush in the US.
I was in the military in the early 80's and we went on a few long hikes into the bush back then.... though I prefer the woods and being away from cities, I personally have no desire to go back to Africa, you are welcome to it! :)
I do understand what you mean about burying gold, I used to buy it when I had some spare cash back when it was 200, I wish I had bought more..... ahh to be young and dumb again. LOL
I did bury a bunch in the back yard, have dug some up over the last 2 yrs and cashed it in, my neighbors must think I am crazy! I too wish I would have bought and buried more, my biggest problem now is I can't remember where I buried some of it. :(
I do wish you luck in Rhodesia if you are going back, I know Africa grows on some people I am just not one of them!
