CHMC: Someone PM'd me an interesting thought. Let's say you open a new account at ETrade and buy 10,000 shares. 1st 100 trades are free...no commission. Then you sell 100 shares at a time at the bid every so often (100 shares times 100 trades is 10,000 shares). Could happen in this corrupt market. It's not not out of the realm of possibilities.
