Just to continue on my German WBMaker friend...

It was published/discussed on the internet some 6 months ago that AMD's strong arm was in the WB market.
Literally 1 week later, my WBM friend called me to say that Intel Germany Sales had called him to talk him into entering all sorts of agreements for product support/sales.
He was called many times after that, until the discussion got down to "what about Ethernet Cards then? .. do you need those".

He commented to me that it was almost a shock to him - "big" Intel calls "little" him !
Had he not been an avid AMD-tech supporter ( as well as an AMD Long ), he'd have probably bought into their offer.

I Emailed AMD - and told them that this was happening in Germany - No Answer of course !

I posted earlier that Intel Marketing "does not sleep".
I just wish AMD marketing would wake up ..
- hike the ASPs "up"
- spend that extra cash on marketing and supporting the brand name and supply-chain-financials
