valuemind: CHAR's debt levels are very reasonable with a debt/equity ratio lower than stocks like CPE and KCS. Interest expense was only about 12% of operating income. However captital expenditures on drilling activity are substantial, but the reward should be significant increases in production. Political risk is difficult to assess, but I'm very glad they don't have Lukoil as a joint venture partner, LOL
