Dr. D. I have used TDA as one of my brokers for many years. Typically when they require you to call in and place your trade with a broker, it is because management "feels" there is questionable information involving the stock. I have had that fight with them many, many times with other stocks. It took a conference call with an SEC attorney and TDA rep to get that much info out of them. Basically, they can limit either buying or selling of a stock...for any reason they choose...but not both. And legally they don't have to give you a reason.

It's their opinion, and accuracy or truth has nothing to do with it. Your choice is to go with a different broker, or accept their decision....which is why I now use several brokers.
