Hi Risk, the wet season has never been a problem to me.
FAIL to PLAN and YOUR PLAN WILL FAIL. (Preperation).
I am originaly from the west coast of scotland and constant rain there is a way of life.

IF you have selected your area for extraction and can tow or transport your Dredge to site then no problem.
Preferably to tow by boat as access to river can be restricted with flooding.
I modified the Dredge at the rear and adapted a jetski to push it.
1 jetski to 3 dredges instead of 3x outboard motors.

It NORMALY only rains at night with constant rain for 1 or 2 weeks in AUGUST.
Have seen the pampana rise 2 meters in 1 night, rain gathers in the mountains from miles around and then dumps into the river.(BRINGING ALL THE GOODIES).
Production: and no one has mentioned this High Water is usualy a BONUS, WHY? The river rises, YES, BUT it also gets WIDER
therefor the dredge has access to areas that were not covered by water before.
Top soil is washed away and sands are exposed, let nature do the work and you can dredge in places where you would have had to use diggers in the dry season.
There is a lot of information that companies can not make public.
especially in west africa. You would have your long lost 7th cousin sitting at your door with his hand out. If you get my meaning?
As previously stated if all the components are put in place and work together then JOB DONE.

Looks like I have to change my plans.
DO NOT SEND A CAR SALESMAN TO BUY A D9 or you will end up with something from Germany with no Tropical Spec going to Africa.
(Even if he is a director)
