I just got off the phone with someone from the Idaho state tax agency that seized the vehicle. As of yesterday, Val Westergard has either paid his delinquent taxes or negotiated an agreement to pay them.

However, I learned that vehicles seized for unpaid taxes are usually held for at least a month before being offered for auction. Val's Suburban has been advertised for auction since May 17, so it was likely siezed at least a month before that.

It's possible that Val Westergard has been the "big seller" dumping MDGC stock so that he could raise enough money to get his vehicle back.

The bigger issue is what this says about his character.
