kezzek, Anyone who understands the difference between an FTD and a Short position is not so naive as to think the 2k short on CDCH is actually what has not been covered by MMs at the end of the month. Do you really believe the monthly OTC report on every pinkie?

With the FTDs approaching or exceeding nearly 50% for CDCH on most trading days, especially on a low volume day, it is statistically impossible to have such a low "short position", IMO. MMs avoid a "short position" report by doing "wash trades" amongst themselves, which "legally" circumvents the 13 day rule, and thus avoids reporting the true short position.
As they say, "the smart money knows" - NOT covered 2 weeks later. lol
